Healing the Digestive System takes Patience and Mindfulness

As my body heals from years of Lyme disease and organ stress, I am learning patience.  Just because I went to Lymestop for treatment, doesn't mean my digestive issues magically disappear overnight.  The adrenals, small intestine, pancreas, liver, etc actually take 4-6 months to heal from the trauma of these diseases.  

Here are the steps I am taking to improve my digestive health as I heal from SIBO, candida, parasites and Lyme (all of which caused a vast amount of histamine reactions to almost every food I was eating).

✨ Eating only ruminant meat and homemade meat broth for at least a month.

✨ Be mindful. Tell my mind and body I will be eating soon.

✨ A spoonful of bitters to stimulate the digestive juices to start flowing.

✨ Deep, thoughtful inhales of the aroma as I am preparing the food.

✨ Pause before eating to express gratitude that the food will give me the ability to live my beautiful life another day.

✨ Chew mindfully and completely, tasting the food 💯.

✨ Stay off my phone while eating.
